I was invited by Mohawk College to volunteer in the Language Swap Activity with the Language and Culture Centre for International Education Week, which held on November 16th and 17th 2016.
I had lots of fun teaching people of different cultures how to speak and write in Arabic. It was a pleasure meeting people of different backgrounds and educating each other about our cultures. I taught them very simple Arabic phrases like: My name is .. I am from Canada, hello, thank you etc.
